Bro. Shane began serving Macedonia as pastor in February 2012. He holds a Bachelor of Arts and Masters of Divinity with specialization in Leadership from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and has served in pastoral ministry since 1998. Shane, his wife Daphne and their three boys (Ethan, Timothy, and Benjamin) all enjoy outdoor activities, traveling, and being involved in missions together.
Brian has served as the Student Minister at MBC since 2008 and became the Associate Pastor in the fall of 2010. He is passionate about seeing students grow in relationships, leadership, community, worship, and missions and believes that students are to be a vital part of the church and its mission.
Prior to answering God's call to ministry Brian taught High School History for 10 years and has a Master of Education Degree from William Carey College. Brian also has a Master of Theological Studies Degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
Brian loves the outdoors and collecting and growing plants. He is also an avid New England Patriots and Kansas City Royals fans. Brian and his wife Dawn have a beautiful daughter named Olivia.
John Marc started working at MBC in August 2018. He has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Church Music and is currently attending graduate studies at William Carey University.
He is married to his wife Machaela who is a teacher at Petal Elementary School.
Sarah Beth has served as the Children’s Minister at MBC since February 2016. She is passionate about helping children grow in relationship with Jesus Christ and live out His great commission.
Sarah Beth has a Master of Education Degree from William Carey University and teaches 5th grade Math at Petal Upper Elementary School.
Leslie began serving as Ministerial Assistant at Macedonia in March of 2016.
She has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern Mississippi in Business Administration. Leslie, her husband Russ, and their two girls (Amanda and Danielle) joined Macedonia in October 2001 and have been involved with various ministries at Macedonia.
Betty Jo came to Macedonia from Lexington, KY in November 2009, and became the financial secretary in October 2010, having served in Baptist church life and missions for many years.
She studied Business Administration at Mississippi College and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from The University of Kentucky. She is retired from Business Mgt./Accounting in the field of Dentistry.
She is married to Joe, and they have two daughters and six grandchildren.
