What We Believe

We affirm the Holy Bible as the inspired word of God and the basis for our beliefs. This church subscribes to the doctrinal statement of the BAPTIST FAITH AND MESSAGE as adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention in 2000. We voluntarily band ourselves together as a body of baptized believers in Jesus Christ, personally committed to sharing the good news of salvation to lost mankind. The ordinances of the church are Believer’s Baptism and the Lord’s Supper.

We engage by the aid of the Holy Spirit to walk together in Christian love; to strive for the advancement of this church in knowledge, holiness, and comfort; to promote its prosperity and spirituality; to sustain its worship, ordinances, doctrines, and discipline; to contribute cheerfully and regularly to the support of the ministry, the expenses of the church, the relief of the poor, and the spread of the gospel through all nations.

We are a body of believers in God the father, through Jesus Christ His Son, therefore we accept Christ’s Great Commission for our lives while here on earth. Thus, our mission is to love our Savior and all mankind; to preach, teach, and worship God according to the teachings of the Bible; to help tell the people of the world about Jesus, desiring that all might be saved; to enjoy our church family, worship, and fellowship; and to always be mindful of the needs of others.

Macedonia Emblem

Here at Macedonia Baptist Church we have adopted the beautiful design you see on the left as the symbol of our church. To us, it is more than just a logo or a symbol, but serves as a representation of who we are and what we are to be doing.
