Brian has served as the Student Minister at MBC since 2008 and became the Associate Pastor in the fall of 2010. He is passionate about seeing students grow in relationships, leadership, community, worship, and missions and believes that students are to be a vital part of the church and its mission.

Prior to answering God's call to ministry Brian taught High School History for 10 years and has a Master of Education Degree from William Carey College. Brian also has a Master of Theological Studies Degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.

Brian loves the outdoors and collecting and growing plants.  He is also an avid New England Patriots and Kansas City Royals fan.  Brian and his wife Dawn have a beautiful daughter named Olivia.

Alicia began serving at MBC as the Children’s Minister in July 2021. Before moving back to Mississippi she lived in New Orleans working as a youth minister and continued her education. Over the years she has worked in different churches with children and youth. She has a passion to see children from all ages form a relationship with Jesus Christ, helping them grow closer to Him, and live out the great commission. 

Alicia grew up as a missionary kid in Chile, where she was adopted. She has earned her Associate Degree in Child Development Technology, a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a double major in Intercultural Studies and Psychology from William Carey University, and a Master of Arts in Christian Education from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
